The Sunday shows have a record day, going 0-for-4 for the Watchdog.
On Fox News Sunday, Sen. Trent Lott was not asked how he could criticize SCHIP expansion for making “Uncle Sam will run the program,” when he wants the federal government to take away state flexibility to meet the needs of their population.
He wants asked hard-hitting questions like, “critics say, Senator Lott, that this means that a lot of families that already have and are paying for private insurance could simply go on the public dole and be subsidized by taxpayers.”
Oh right, that’s not even a question.
Neither Lott nor Newt Gingrich or anyone else was asked on any show if they would refuse to return to Rush Limbaugh’s radio show after he attacked military service members who support redeployment out of Iraq as “phony soldiers.”
