Monday begins the biggest progressive conference of the year: America’s Future Now!

What’s in store for the thousands of progressives gathering in Washington, DC on Monday?

At 11 AM, the conference kicks off with the “We Are The Change” opening plenary. Robert Borosage previewed his remarks today in a Politico oped, calling on progressives for mobilize independently of the Democratic Party and the White House. Arianna Huffington, Andy Stern and Phaedra Ellis-Lamkins will also address the conference.

At 12:20 PM, we host “The Great Debate: Progressive Strategy in the Obama Era” — Darcy Burner and Deepak Bhargava discuss whether progressives should fully back the Obama agenda, or if we should we be an independent force. A conference-wide group discussion follows.

At 1:30 PM, Daily Kos’ Markos Moulitsas and MoveOn’s Ilyse Hogue discuss how we can defeat resistance to progressive reform.

At 2:30 PM, “The Political Brain” author Drew Westen, pollster Celinda Lake and others discuss “Working Class Anger: Does it go Right or Left?”

And at 3:30 PM: Sen. Dick Durbin, Rep. Donna Edwards, Rev. Jesse Jackson and Scott Wallace discuss “Challenging Money Politics.”

That’s only a few of the powerful sessions in store on Monday, not to mention Tuesday and Wednesday!
